Will my website go down during the transfer?

How long does a domain transfer take?

Usually, a domain transfer takes between 5 to 7 days to complete, depending on your current registrar. However, some registrars allow you to manually approve the transfer from their dashboard to expedite the process and complete it within a few hours.

Why can't I transfer my domain?

ICANN rules state that a domain cannot be transferred if it was registered or previously transferred within the last 60 days. Additionally, if your domain is expired and in the "Redemption Grace Period," it cannot be transferred.

Do I lose the remaining time on my domain?
